UNIWA, founded in March 2018 through the merger of the former Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Piraeus University of Applied Sciences, and National School of Public Health, upholds high educational and research standards. The Smart Technologies, Renewable Energy Sources & Quality research laboratory (STRESQ-Lab) at UNIWA contributes to the Research and Technology domains. Amongst others, it specializes in industrial design of underwater visual sensing modules, system communications, data harmonization, integration, and production line implementation.
